TUBE PAN HELP

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR KEEPING THE BATTER  FROM SPLILLING OUT WHEN USING A 2 PIECE TUBE PAN?

4hearts, I've never had batter spill out of tube pans or other 2 piece cake pans. All I do is pour the batter into the pan, nothing special. I think if you look at the bottom edge of the insert you'll see a rolled edge and the outside pan has a slight groove where the insert sits.  It's a little hard to explain.  Just don't worry about  spilling and just pour.
