WHEN TO GREASE THE PAN OR NOT

I have a recipe for a homemade chocolate cake but it doesn't specify whether or not to grease the "bundt" pan.  Should I grease?

Yes  I would grease the pan and flour it. Grease the pan then put a couple of tablespoons of flour in the pan. shake it around so that the flour sticks to the sides & then dump any excess. The cake should then rise nicely & when cool it should come out easily.

One other suggestion!  After greasing your Bundt pan, dust with cocoa when you make a chocolate cake (then you don't have the flour showing when you turn out your finished cake).  Use flour for dusting the pan for other (light colored) cakes.
