Cranberry relish or sauce

I am looking for a Cranberry relish or sauce that contain's cranberries, orange, apple, nuts and sugar and don't know if there was anything else in it.   I ate some many year's ago but never got the recipe.  I am not sure if it had jello in it or not, but it wasn't thick like jello.

I hope you can help me as would like to make it for Thanksgiving.

Thank you.

Leila,  I had a great recipe for an uncooked cranberry relish, lost the recipe, but can hopefully do by memory...  1 bag fresh or frozen cranberries, 1 lg. naval orange, 1 lg. or 2 sm. apples-firm and tart (cored, peeled and 1/2 inch dice)1 tsp. cinnamon, sugar to taste, I used sugar substitute.  You then put all in food processor, you use the whole orange, peel and all, cut in half, then in quarters, if no processor, you can use a blender.  It really is good, and gets better with time, try to make day before serving.  Hope you like it.

This is delicious! I just got done making a batch because my children and I are having Thanksgiving dinner with their dad tonight due to other plans on the big day itself. As a side note, I added some pecans that were leftover from the pie I made. It is so good now, I can't wait to taste it again once it has had a chance to sit and meld together while it chills in the fridge! Thank you so much for sharing, and you both have a safe, healthy, happy Thanksgiving!! Yes

Hi minnesota051;

You saved my day and I thank you so much for the recipe.  It sounds just like the one I had several years ago and was delicious.

I'll make it this Thanksgiving and maybe I'll try the pecans in some of it to.

Have a great day.

Goodmorning Minnesota051,

I made your cranberry salad and it was delicious.  Even my Husband ate some and he usually doesn't care for raw cranberries.  Thank you so much for the recipe and I'll make this from now on for our holidays.

Thank all of you that sent me your cranberry recipe.  I'll try them all and I know we will enjoy them.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Leila,

I think this is the recipe you are looking for...can add apples too!

CRANBERRY JELLO RELISH

Printed from COOKS.COM

1 lb fresh cranberries crushed or minced
2 packages black cherry Jello
1 medium orange peeled and seeded (all white must be removed)
1 cup pecans or walnuts crushed
1 cup sugar

Using a food processor, crush fresh cranberries until fine. Add 1 cup of sugar and mix well and set aside for 30 minutes. Crush or grind nuts with orange add to large bowl. Mix black cherry Jello using ONLY 1 cup of hot water per package and no cold water. Add to nuts and orange mixture. Mix all ingredients together and add to mold or glass bowl.

Allow to stand in refrigerator overnight.

This is also great if made up to 1-2 days ahead.

Instead of fresh orange(s), canned manderin oranges work fine. I use rasberry jello. Pat
