Missing Microwave Directions (Helper products)

Like many people, I'm very upset that Betty Crocker has decided to remove microwave instructions from their Helper products. Also, all contacts with Betty Crocker regarding this issue have gone unanswered. I was supplied with a FAQ link to only 4 of their Helper products that have microwave instructions on the website. That URL is http://www.bettycrocker.com/products/hamburger-helper/hamburger-helper-faqs.htm. I recently found a website that has many more from a person who took the time to get the instructions off Amazon.com listings. How sad that we have to go to great lengths for convenience! That website is http://jynnantonnyx.com/archives/2007/10/14/hamburger-helper-microwave-directions

5 Replies to Missing Microwave Directions (Helper products)

I agree. I used to buy a lot of their potato products but have switched brands. If they bring back the microwave directions I might switch back. Too bad because I really like the BC better but I don't have time to mess with the oven or stove top.

I tried the last link and it took me to community administration. Any luck for another link? I am trying to get microwave directions for Tuna Helper, Cheddar Macaroni to be exact. Any ideas folks?

9/18/2008 9:34 PM

I found a few microwave directions on the FAQ page.  I

am also quite disappointed that they are no longer on the boxes.  I saw a conversation where someone from Betty Crocker said that the next box design would include microwave directions again but that was a year ago!  I think the boxes have changed in looks since then but the microwave directions haven't come back.  Maybe we need to keep bringing it up again so that they will listen?

The General is missing the boat. At least FLAVORITE brand still has MICROWAVE directions.
