I was looking for a kidney bean recipe today and found this on the site. Not exactly what you are looking for, but this uses some of those recipes.
Taco Supper Skillet
| 1/2 | lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef |
| 1 | package (1.25 oz) Old El Paso® taco seasoning mix |
| 2 1/4 | cups water |
| 1 1/2 | cups uncooked wagon wheel pasta (5 1/2 oz) |
| 1 1/2 | cups Green Giant® Niblets® frozen whole kernel corn |
| 1 | can (15 oz) Progresso® kidney beans or pinto beans, drained, rinsed |
| 1 | medium tomato, chopped (3/4 cup) |
| 1/2 | cup sour cream |
| 1 | cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz) |
| 1 | tablespoon chopped fresh chives |
I also have the 1950's reprint and found Beef and Corn Casserole. Think that's it?
Cook in 1T fat until tender...1/4c chopped onion, 1/4c chopped green pepper
Add and cook until beef frizzles at edge...1/4lb cut up dried beef, 1c slised mushrooms
Meanwile, blend together...2c Medium White Sauce, 2 egg yolks beaten, 1t prepared mustard, salt and pepper to taste
Combine with dried beef mixture. Add...2c kernel corn, drained
Pour into greased 1 1/2qt casserole.
Sprinkle with...1/2c grated sharp cheese, 1/4t paprika
Bake 30 min. at 350. Serves 6-8
