jain, I have the bc book my mother used, can't find a year on it but I'd guess it's from about 1959.  Two lasagne recipes one for 'American Lasagne' and one just called 'Lasagne'.  The 'American' recipe calls for swiss cheese.  If you think it's one of these I'd be happy to write it out.

Thank you soooooo much! Have been everywhere on line trying to find this recioe (american Lasagna), Want you to know I made this several times, but it has been years, My kids are all grown & I don't cook as much anymore. (especially these type of recipes), they are too large for 2 people.

But was thinking about this lasagna & wanted to make it, but the sheet was torn out of my old 1961 book. You saved my day!! Will be thinking of you when I'm cooking it.

Have a nice Holiday

Thanks again,Grethel

Thank you!  I have been wanting to make American Lasagna for some time; I used to make it all the time for my family.  I have a new Betty Crocker Cookbook, but the recipe wasn't in it.  I have a "very old Betty Crocker Cookbook", but the page with this recipe is missing.

Thank you so much!  Mary
