cook book help

I hope you all can help me I don't have much info but I am looking for a betty crocker cookbook my mom use to have when I was growing up... All that I can remeber is that the cook book had a recipe for brownie pudding  and old fashion doughnuts the binder was red and white sqaures   kind of like the black and white pants chefs wear nowa days,... The red and white little squares went horizontally I know this binder was made between the 1950 and late 1970's  I have seen the better homes binder and its checkered run diagonal  and the sqaures are to big,,, please help me I know these binders are out ther but I cant find them the old books are way better then the new ones,,,,,,

Thank you

Maybe you can look through the old BC cookbooks available on Ebay.  You'll probably find it there.  Good Luck.

hi, i believe I have found the cook book you are looking for,

Brownie Pudding, 1 cup sifted all- purpose flour, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tablespoons salad oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3/4 cup chopped walnuts, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa , 1 3/4 cups hot water. Sift together first 5 ingredients: add milk, oil, and vanilla; mix till smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 8x8x2-inch  baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over batter. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes , makes 6 to 8 servings......
