Need name of cookbook...Please help!

I hope someone can help me out.  Back in the early 80's I used to make a chocolate pudding recipe from a Betty Crocker kid's cookbook.  I remember having to put cocoa powder in it (because it never failed that I would spill some!).  I also remember that you put it in sundae glassess to firm up (So it's not the Chocolate Pudding Cake).  I no longer have the cookbook, but would love to find a copy as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old daughter.  I've looked all over and all the Betty Crocker cookbooks for Boys and Girls I've found do NOT have a chocolate pudding recipe!!

Can someone help me out with a title and printing date?  I'm starting to think I'm going crazy!!

Just talked to Linda in Customer Service, is this the recipe? Sincerely, Cate

Chocolate Cream Pudding

1/2 cup sugar
 1/3 cup cocoa
 2 tablespoons cornstarch
 1/8 teaspoon salt
 2 cups milk
 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
 2 teaspoons vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in 2-quart saucepan.  Stir in milk gradually.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.  Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir at least half of the hot mixture gradually into egg yolks.  Blend into hot mixture in saucepan.  Boil and stir 1 minute.  Remove from heat; stir in margarine and vanilla.  Pour into 4 dessert dishes. Cool slightly; refrigerate. 4 servings.

The recipe in the kids cookbook didn't use egg yolks.  The cookbook had drawings of each measurement needed (for example a cup or a teaspoon).  If you can help, I greatly appreciate it!!

Here is a similar recipe you can make in the microwave.

Microwave Thick Chocolate Pudding

1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a 2-qt. microwave-safe bowl, combine the first four ingredients.

Stir in milk until smooth.

Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3 minutes; stir.

Microwave 4-6 minutes longer or until thickened, stirring after each minute.

Stir in vanilla.

Serve warm or chilled.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups of pudding.

Those who forget the pasta are condemned to reheat it.

I actually have the Betty Crockers New Boys and Girls Cookbook from 1965!  (Yes, I am a saver... LOL)  (First edition as a matter of fact.)  The price tag of $1.95 is still on the cover.  LOL.  buy I digress as I am truly aging myself here.

The only chocolate pudding recipe I can find in this book is

The name of the Betty Crocker cookbook you are looking for may be this one:
