brownie products

the brownie products that u buy from betty crocker are extremely incorrect.the cooking times are not 25-28 mins...rather 14-15 instead.

theres no way that a batch of brownies will come up soft or even somewhat soft at that kind of cooking time.no matter how correctly your oven is set.

time after time i have cooked their recipe to the core with the exact ingredients, cooking times,etc...and never have my brownies came out other than bricks.

either their batter mixture is extremely messed up or the people writing the backs of the packages are high.

350 degress for 25-28 minutes produces bricks,,,no matter what kind of pan you use.

ive taken recipes off the internet and made homemade brownies and never have they turned into bricks.

either betty crocker is starting to serve crocks or they really dont make the mixes correctly.

Yes,my baking sheet is correct as well

Hi rpcasper:

Thank you for posting about your Betty Crocker brownie mix. I have contacted Customer Service about your post to make sure your thoughts were shared with the right people.

Quality and service are primary concerns for General Mills, and I’m are sorry your experience did not meet the standards General Mills expect from their products.

Please know that before directions can be placed on the package, they are thoroughly tested in the Betty Crocker Kitchens, as well as in consumer test groups.  The end product is rated for flavor, color, texture and all the other qualities that go into development of a good product.

Thank you again for your post.  We are sorry about the inconvenience this has caused and hope you will continue to choose Betty Crocker products.

Sincerely, CC
