Not sure if this is the correct message board to post this complaint to about free samples, coupons and the free calenders?

Hey Everyone,


Note to start....I apologize for the length and repeativness of the topics discussed so much but i needed to let someone know about my issues!!- ( lol-this is why i'm not much of a chatter on message sites because I always make posts too long for others to read!!....)


 


I really dont like to complain about ANYTHING, but I just realized that this site had a message board and I wanted to complain about some things.


 


Well, first of all hello to everyone and I do love the Betty Crocker brands, the Dinner Made Easy and the Bisquick brands/newsletters.  I KNOW i've been a member since at least 2007 and I NEVER received anything like the free samples or the calender for 2007, 2008, OR 2009 calender.  As a matter of fact when I signed up for the website If I remember correctly, that was one of the main reasons I wanted to sign up for was for the free Calender along with samples and coupons.  I can print coupons from the website but I would much prefer the ones that are mailed because I live in a rural area and the grocery stores here do not like to take coupons that are "printed" because they said that they were getting alot of fraudulant/fake coupons so they basically just wanted to stop taking anything that was not a manufactured coupon from the actual brand company. Or if it would not scan on their bar code scanner they won't accept the printed one. So, most of the time I end up with wasted coupons when they won't accept it if it won't go thru their computer system i guess you could say. In my area, unless I drive almost an hour and a half, I have only a few grocery stores to shop at which are  -Wal-mart, Harveys and Winn Dixie..so i'm limited in that area as it is in that sense.


 


I dont like to "chat" all that much on the computer...I'm mostly a "looker/reader" i guess you could say but I do and will participate in surveys or If i'm asked to give feedback on a product I will and do when asked to do so(most of the time if asked thru email mainly).  Actually I would love to be on a taste tester panel to test new products if there is such a thing that this website does(or your affiliated wesbsites/brands does, i would love to join those as well).  Other than that tho, i'm not much of a chatter but that still shouldn't be the reason I didn't receive any free samples or the free calender for the last 3 years that I know i've been a member.  I really do hate to complain about anything unless I really feel I need to like at this time with the calender and the samples/coupons that I really should have received back in 2008 and the 2009 calender as well.  But I would like to know why I did not receive a calender or even any free samples from here from time to time? I mean I've been a member for at least 2 1/2 -3 years and Im very disappointed that I never got a calender and now it says that they are out of calenders after researching thru the site.  i do read the newsletters faithfully and do try to print and try to use the coupons the site offers(but that is still NOT a guarentee the grocery store will even take the printed ones I take the time to print and use the money in ink/paper to also print-as previously mentioned on why.)  But I am on a very tight budget moneywise where I only have a certain amount I am only able to spend on food/cooking items so I have to use whatever resource I can to try to save money.  I am on disability and only get one check a month so what I get has to be spent very wisely after I pay my living expenses.


Anyway, this wasnt supposed to turn into a "woe is me" type post or this wasnt meant to be this long but I do feel very slighted that I never received ANYTHING-especially the calender(i've really wanted the past 2 yrs at least) or any samples for all the time i've been a member.  This is the point of my ranting is that I wanted a calender with samples/coupons from time to time and still havent received anything after being a member this long....Of course, I LOVE all the newsletters I get and read and make use of and the coupons I can "occasionally" use if the grocery store will accept them(again, as mentioned about earlier about the printed kind). I will continue to do all of the things i've been doing but GOSH, what a way to reward members who've been faithful in buying your brand and affiliated brand(s) for so long. And I do NOT like to complain about anything usually but as mentioned before, I feel the need to at this time due to not getting the calender/samples/coupons I really wanted all from the beginning!!!  I also have been telling my family and friends about this website and your affiliated sites as well.!!  So, I've been spreading the word about your products anyways all this time. (Which is what a faithful member or a satisfied consumer would do)




Anyway, thats what I wanted to talk about but Im not sure that I posted this in the "correct" message board.  I didn't see a board for general chatting about complaints or being unhappy about something or needing help with something so this is the board I chose to post it in so If i'm in the wrong place could someone please direct me to the correct place.?  I know this is long and I know not alot of people like to read long posts but I needed to get this off my chest about my complaint about the calender and samples and problems with the printed coupons from home. You should reward your devoted long term members better than you have me. Or I hope that you have otherwise, I don't see how you would keep members for so long with promises that aren't kept.


Ok, that is the end of my rant/complaint...so if any of the moderators could explain to me why my complaints weren't met I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas/recipes/tips/newsletters, etc. and I will continue to make use/read them and also buy your brand products but I would still like to know why.  I am sorry again that this is so long but hopefully the correct person responsible for taking care of these types of things now know that long time members arent being rewarded like they should be and hopefully they will take care of the issues that i've mentioned because I would hope i'm not the only one this has happened to.

P.s.  If you are a long time member reading this and have experienced the same problem as I have could you post a quick note to let me and the folks who take care of this sort of thing know it is happening to you as well?? I'd appreciate the response to at least know im not the only one this has and is happening to.  Thanks so much and again sorry for the length of this post.
