Heart Smart Bisquick Impossible Pies

I've read about the ladies who have had difficulty with Heart Smart Bisquick pancakes and biscuits. I love the Heart Smart mix! When I use it, I just pretend it is the original mix and the end product is delicious.

However, that said, I am nervous about making Impossible Pies with Heart Smart because so many of the recipes call for the original mix.  Are the mixes interchangable in Impossible Pies or is there a posting where I can find the pie recipes made with the Heart Smart mix?

Many thanks!!

You know, I would still go for it and use the Heart Smart. I used the Bisquick Heart Smart in a week's worth of dinners... and I couldn't tell the difference. If you end up trying it- please let us know how it turned out! Sincerely, Cate

Will do, Cate! We are having roast beef this evening so later this week I will try the beef-mushroom-veggie version of Impossible Pie. I'll let you know....

Thanks.

Yes, Cate, that's the one.

Last night, I made two pies - one for my husband and me and one for my grandkids (7,13,16). For veggies I used an organic mix from my garden (cauliflower, broccoli & carrots) and traded the Swiss cheese for Muenster..

They were terrific! Both my husband and my grands loved them. Now my grandsons are looking forward to the cheeseburger and the taco versions!

I sure hope those other ladies don't give up on the Heart Smart Bisquick.

Thanks!

Thank you for sharing Gardencrone! Muenster Cheese is one of my fav's! I'll have to try that twist! Sincerely, CC
