Ditto!!! I loved these bars - one way to get dates into children that kept them coming for more. Please, Please consider bringing them back - or sell the pouch of dates separately.

Yes, please bring them back.  They are so yummy!  I know everyone in my family would like it!  Maybe just at Christmas?  Then we could stock up during the year.

Another thing I REALLY miss is the Chocolate Pudding cake dessert.  Now I'd really like you to bring that back.  I can still imagine the the taste of it.  I've tried making it from scratch and it isn't the same.

My family has been enjoying Date Bars for three generations.  Would you consider bringing them back for a limited time around the Holidays each year.  It would be hard to wait for but still really worth the wait.  I have tried several recipes but none are quite the same.  Please consider the limited production idea.  It will be be worth it!

I also (and my friends and family) would love you to bring back the date bar mix, if only for the holidays!  They were such a hit!  If you had trouble marketing them, try some other name.  But the product itself was great just as it was!  For a while I could no longer buy them in my area and had to order directly from General Mills and now I can't even do that.  What a shame.  They are sorely missed!

After reading this thread I went to just see what recipes popped up using dates.

And there are a bunch of yummy looking date recipes! These ginger date cookies sound really yummy! :)

okay me to, the recipe is good but not the same, the mix was so easy and my family has been wanting it for years now.

is there any out there anywhere

Hmmm... Here is another recipe suggestion. http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/recipe.aspx?recipeID=7276&Source=SearchResultPage&terms=bar
the reason I mention it, is it’s the same base and sweet crumb topping, just a different fruit filling.

sorry I don't know how to post separately, but....

My family also is 3 generations of Date Bar Mix lovers

With all of the requests for it, I don't understand why Betty Crocker does not

bring it back.  I'd buy them by the case...one for me, one for my mom, one for my sister, one for my son

one for my other son, and a couple for friends.  So how about making them and just doing mail order???

That way you would be able to get an idea of supply and demand for a start.

i would also like to see these back in the stores. my mother fixed them for me as a treat.

I also miss the date bar mix.  We've used it in our family since 1967 to make our traditional family tiny tims every year.  Instead of just discontinuing the recipe, why not just make it in a limited production and put it on the shelves from October through December???

Our family was a lover of the Date Bar Mix.  We would go up north to our cabin and eat AT LEAST one box mix per DAY!!!!!  Our family alone should have kept it worth Betty Crocker making it.  Please bring it back.  It was such an awesome bar, very quick to make for a family's busy schedule.

PPPPPPLLLLEEEASE!!!

The only dessert bar I EVER made at the holidays.

Now I have nothing but pies at Christmas.

YES I am aware that they had a high calorie count.

Everyone in the world is not on a diet. Some folks are already slim, and others don't CARE.

Let's get OPRAH to name them one of her "favorite things" and maybe Betty Crocker will have them selling again.

Please bring them back.

I'm with you. I loved the date bar mix when I was a kid. Relatives try to cook it for me once or twice a year but they never get it right...would be great if they could make it from a kit!

I look in the store all the time for these bars.  I tell my kids how good they were and I really would like to beable to make them.  I think they are tired of me talking about them and would like to see for themselves.  Please bring them back....
