My daughter is allergic to egg.  Has anyone seen a good Christmas cutout egg free cookie recipe?

I use my regular recipe and put in an egg replacer.  It is a powder that you mix with water.  I found it in the baking section of a Smith's Food and Drug in NV.  Unlike egg substitutes (like Egg Beaters) there are NO egg derivitives in it.  My son cannot have eggs either.  Hope this helps you out some.

I have a delicious recipe, it's a rolled dough that you cut and then decorate.  I call them Cream Cheese cookies, but they really have more butter than anything.

CREAM CHEESE COOKIES

3 ounces   Cream cheese (softened)

2 sticks     Butter or margarine(softened)

6 Tbs.       Sugar

1/4 tsp.     Salt

1 tsp.        Vanilla

2 cups       Flour

Mix together first 5 ingredients.  Fold in the flour.  Mold mixture into smooth roll.  Wrap in wax paper.  Chill in refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours (or overnight).  Cut into thin slices(about 1/8" thick).  Decorate with nuts or candies or sugars.  Bake @ 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

My daughter is also allergic to eggs. I substitute 1/4 Cup of Apple sauce for 1 egg. When I search for a recipe I try to look for only 1-2 eggs in the ingredients. I hope that is helpful.
