Is this what you're looking for?

1 Box cake mix (any flavor)

1 tub cool whip (8 oz)

1 egg

Mix all ingredients.

Form into balls.

Roll in confectioners' sugar.

Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.

Cool in pan a few minutes before removing.

It almost seems like the cookies would taste like doughnuts.  Yum!

I have to bring in the snack for my child's kindergarten class and this recipe is perfect.

Thanks.

I have the best recipe for cake mix cookies. You can use any cake mix and they come out GREAT my kids and grandkids can't get enough. All you need is a box of any cake mix 1/3 cup of water, 1/4 cup of butter softened, 1 egg, and that is it. Do not go by the instruction on the box of cake mix. You can also add chocolate chips, rasin , nuts what ever turns you on. The dough may seem kinda thick  but don't worry they come out great. Its the best receipt that I came across for cookies and easy and quick. Good Luck and enjoy. The receipt makes about 4 dozen. Let me know how you and your family like them.             Deb627

These cookies do sound yummy, but I agree with Granna2.  What are the baking instructions? I would love to try them, but I don't want to mess them up by burning them or under baking them.  Smile

Many thanks for posting this. I had a friend who told me this recipe many years ago & I lost it. Unfortunately, I couldn't go ask her as she passed away recently. I shall be making these & thinking of her.

This sounds soooo easy and awesome....Going to try them tomorrow....Snowed in without a cake mix...Instead of running for milk and bread, we should make sure we have a cake mix too before a snowstorm!

Hi mertiesmama, Let me post, yet another one. these are cake like cookies and you can add anything/everything that you want.  Cake Mix Cookies: 1 cake mix ( any flavor), 3 eggs, 1/2 c. water, 1/2 c. oil. Mix all together,  beat by hand, as it will be very stiff, for 3 min., put on parchment/wax paper lined cookie sheet by teaspoon full, about 2" apart,smooth/flaten out some, bake at 350 for 5-8 minutes. cool slightly before removing to a plate. Makes about  2 1/2 dozen cookies, depending on size. Granna2
