Cooking & Baking with Kids

From breakfast to dinner and lunchboxes to kid-friendly snacks. How do you keep it fun for kids in the kitchen?

My 6 year old Granddaughter loves these Cookies ( Also they are easy )

       Chocolate Waffle Cookies

1/2 cup butter; softened

2 eggs; beaten

1 cup flour

3/4 cup white sugar

4 Tablespoons Hershey's baking cocoa

1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat your waffle iron. Mix all ingredients together. Drop by teaspoonful onto each section of waffle iron. Close cover and bake 1-3 minutes. Don't over bake. Lift off with a fork. Cool. Leave them plain or use your imagination. You can frost them with frosting, cream cheese, cool whip, peanut butter, etc.. You can stick them together like  a sandwich cookie or not.

They taste alot like Devil's Food Cake. Have not found a Child or Adult that does not like them.

Hi, would love to make these but need to know if it's sweetened or unsweetened baking cocoa mix.

Thanks
