Cooking Healthy for a Crowd

I prepare fellowship suppers for our church and need easy, healthy, economical recipes with wide appeal that could be multiplied for 100 persons.

I also am on a committee to prepare meals for approximately 200-250 once a month and need large size recipes that are easy to fix.  Our space is limited and we mainly cook with roasters as we only have two small ovens.  Does anyone have a website that perhaps school cooks would use?

I also just bought a large roaster oven & would like to have some recipes that would be appropriate for it. Huh?

Hi Catt01:
So is it electric or not?
Did you get it for a gift? Or did you buy it for an event or party?
I know we can find them at the Betty Crocker Store but I’m not finding any recipes.
No worries! I just went outside the site to look.

One site I like is food.com If you can’t see this link, IMHO- it’s worth the sign up- and the search under “electric roaster”

If it’s non-electric, then here are some helpful links:

Hope this help!

Hey There Bulk Cookers!

This is Jill from the Betty Crocker A Piece of Cake Blog.  I am going to post a whole blog post with ideas and resources for cooking for a crowd.  I used to volunteer at a home that put out 100+ dinners a night, and, boy, I sure did get tired of seeing sloppy joes!  I hope to give you some ideas that will delight without breaking the bank.  Once my post is up, I'll add a direct link to it on this thread.

Keep cooking!

Jill
