Potato Chip-Chocolate Toffee
by AndiatBettyCrocker 9/7/2010 11:13:00 AM

One of the best things I tasted over the weekend, at a big Labor Day pool party, was Potato Chip-Chocolate Toffee.  Just before we left the party, I was helping in the kitchen and started to toss out the last remaining crumbs of this deliciously sweet and salty snack so I could wash out Jen's container. That turned out to be a bad idea to other kitchen helpers, who immediately dove into the crumbs and ...

Got Chex Mix?
by AndiatBettyCrocker 1/20/2010 9:19:00 AM

If not, you might want to buy a couple of bags of Chex Mix to eat during the game on Sunday night. This will be kind of an important game if you are a Vikings fan.  As my friends and family know, I’m not much of a sports fan but when a home-town team is playing for a spot at the Super Bowl, I’ll tune in to watch the game. A co-worker noticed this  edible “Super Bowl” in a new magazine...

Feeding Kids Without Anxiety and Conflict
by jillbcooks 5/21/2009 7:32:00 AM

Fifteen Minutes to Chex Party Mix!
by AndiatBettyCrocker 12/11/2008 3:00:00 PM

I usually bake at least one batch of Chex Party Mix during this time of year.  That’s because one recipe makes a lot and everyone likes it. It’s easy to transport (up to our cabin or to a friend’s home) and it keeps for long time. If there’s any left by then, I put it out for New Year’s Eve with other appetizers. The real news this year is that our Test Kitchen Experts have developed a way to bake the mix in a microwave oven. That cuts the baking time from 1 hour to just 15 minutes and so now, I can make four batches in the time that it took me to make just one.  For five quick recipes go to: ...

Snack Attack
by Heidi at Betty Crocker 11/9/2007 1:48:00 PM

At 3:13 this afternoon, I got an email with the subject line: "Warm and gooey brownies in the kitchen." Not one to turn away a brownie, I went down to the kitchens to get one. I wasn’t back at my desk more than 10 minutes before I received another email. This one said "Cheesecake now!" This is my job, folks. Seriously.  ...
