As you’ve probably heard, the Academy Awards are right around the corner—Sunday, to be exact. I won’t be watching—it’s AC’s birthday so we’ll be out celebrating—but I wanted to share a great recipe that would be perfect for an Oscar party. Not only does it taste amazing, but it’s really hearty. So hearty, in fact, that my sister and I made it a couple of Saturdays ago for dinner. At a couple of craft fairs this fall, I saw something so kitschy that I just had to have one. The crafters were selling wine bottles filled with tiny Christmas tree lights. They probably wouldn’t cost much to make but we figured out that you would need a drill with a diamond bit to get through the thick glass. This is what they look like.
