Chicken Piccata

My neighbors invited me and several other neighbors over for dinner on Saturday night. After spending Friday and most of Saturday sanding and stripping the built-in, it was so incredibly nice to hit the shower, wash all the dust and grit off, and head across the street to a fantastic meal. It's Alive!

When I get together with my neighbors for dinner, I’m usually asked to bring a salad. It’s not that the salad I make is unusual in any way—it’s just your basic lettuce tossed with some tomato, bell pepper and green onions—but I always serve it with Julie's Dressing and it seems to be a hit. AC and Luke turned me on to this lettuce, which is grown locally. It’s alive when you buy it; still attached to the roots and everything. Weekend Re-cap

I got a ton of stuff done this weekend. On Friday, I met with a plumber to discuss moving around a bunch of radiators and then my dad helped me install a light in my almost-completely remodeled bathroom.
