It’s a beautiful day here in Minnesota. I’m looking forward to getting home and working in my garden. I hope to dig up and divide some daylilies. I only grow flowers. I never had much luck with vegetables. I usually lost my tomatoes to Blossom End Rot (gross!) and the squirrels made off with my bell peppers. I do okay with basil, chives and rosemary, so I usually plant a little container of those to have on hand (it’s so much cheaper than buying it at the grocery store and I like that I can just snip off a little as I need it). In the summer I love to visit local Farmers’ Markets for fresh veggies. I try to find someone to go with as I can never eat what I buy before it goes bad. I thought this link, recently featured on epicurious, was really cool. How about you? Where do you get your veggie in the summer?
