Baking Focaccia and Ciabatta Bread
I love any kind of bread, and to me, a meal doesn’t feel like a meal without some bread. I tend not to buy bread from the bakery on the grocery. Focaccia is $3.99 for a smallish loaf at the grocery store where I shop (it’s not a fancy place, either). Focaccia is a flat bread, usually flavored with olive oil and topped with salt or herbs. I admit that I own a lot of kitchen gear. Being a food enthusiast and cookbook writer, I tend to get gifts that have a connection to food.
