Last week in DC, I saw a wonderful sight—perhaps not as lofty or inspiring as the Lincoln Memorial, but maybe more fun: a cupcake truck.
While the truck does drop off pre-ordered cupcakes, it is part of a larger food trend of mobile food carts happening in major cities. Think of it as a sort of “ice cream truck” experience, but allows you to walk up and order a cupcake. I bought a Key Lime, Red Velvet and Cookies and Cream. These were some of the best cupcakes I’ve had in a while!

If you haven’t noticed, the design of BettyCrocker.com has changed recently. The look and placement of features on the site has changed a bit, and new features have been added. My favorite new feature is the listing on the lower right of the page of the most popular searches on the website. It is fascinating to see what other cooks are up to in their kitchens.
