Cooking for New Parents

I have a friend who just gave birth to her first little one.  She has her hands full, so a few of us teamed up to fill up her refrigerator and freezer. When it comes to cooking for a new mom and dad, there are a few things to keep in mind. Providing a variety of easy, healthy, appealing foods is key, while avoiding overly spicy foods for nursing moms.  Plan ahead with others so new parents aren't inundated with food.  Also, think about foods that could frfeeze easily if they do have an abundance of food.
