Rosh Hashanah Begins Tonight

Today at sundown Rosh Hashanah begins. The High Holidays, which include Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, are a busy time for people, since the holidays are a week apart, and for the most observant people, there are prohibitions on doing work—which includes cooking.  Mix in Labor Day and Back-to-School, and time is really at a premium. This year I have been looking for a perfect challah recipe for a bread machine. Leave it to Betty, but Bread Machine Challah makes a very nice dough.
