Attention all Hockey moms, PTO groups, church groups, charitable running clubs! Raise money for your charity.
When I take a particular highway when I go adventuring, when driving from the exit to my house I pass a church that has a prominent sign in front of it that always has information about different events and fundraisers. The sign piqued my attention a few weeks ago as it promoted something called Turkey Bingo. I admit that I never heard of such a thing, and went home to Google it. In retrospect, I suppose it should have been totally obvious, it is charitable bingo with turkeys (and cash) as prizes. It is definitely a fun idea. I’m not cert...

I love breakfast and I love bread, and I especially love the two together. I have been really into caramel rolls lately. I had one at brunch a couple months ago and sort of couldn’t get it out of my head.
I decided to start experimenting with different recipes. I tried making my own dough. I tried using frozen bread dough. I tried using refrigerated dough.

I've been sick this whole week (hence my lack of a post on Monday--sorry about that) so I haven't been cooking or eating much which doesn't make for interesting blogging (sorry again). Weather forecasters are predicting extremely cold temperatures this weekend, so it would be a good time to bake, provided I can work it into my nap schedule. If I plan it right, I should only have to leave the house once, to go to the grocery store, and then I can settle into my cozy little kitchen and bake to my heart's content.
