Jack likes simple meals, so to make his Father’s Day special, it doesn’t take much in the way of menu planning. Steak is his favorite meal—hands down. But I always like something more interesting than just plain steaks. Here is our compromise this year: Grilled Pepper Steaks with Honey Onions.

Have you ever heard of galumpkis? I hadn't until last weekend when we attended our nephew's Ukrainian-American wedding in Westfield, Massachusetts.
