I like to look at the top searches on the www.BettyCrocker.com website so I can see what topics cooks are interested in…today’s third highest search is for peach cobbler.  With fruit coming into season, I can see why home cooks are searching out this ultimate summer recipe.  You can do more with beautiful peaches than make cobbler...crumble, crisp, ...

Berry Cobbler: Harbinger of Summer

Whenever we have guests over in the summer for grilling, I usually make cobbler with a seasonal fruit for dessert.  We were invited to a barbecue this past weekend, and I brought triple berry cobbler and vanilla ice cream.  The meal was just the right taste to be a harbinger of barbecue season—ribs made two ways, griddled potatoes, broiled zucchini and a crisp lettuce salad.  My dessert was a hit.  The hostess—a really great, experienced cook—asked me for the recipe, which is a high compliment.  Where I grew up outside Buffalo, New York near the ...
