Graduation Celebrations

"Tis the time of the year for celebrating.........graduations, showers, weddings. With my son Carlon graduating from high school, we've been invited to many of his friends' parties and they are so tons of fun.  (lots of work, but lots of fun.)  The graduate, my son Carlon.  He and his friends had a great time hanging out for 4 hours at the party.  This is as much for the parents as it is for the kids, was my thought.  It's quite a milestone!...

An Almost-Easter Birthday

My husband Steve's birthday is today, April 13th.  It's often close to, but rarely ever falls on Easter.  Still, the Easter weekend gave us the time and inspiration to plan and prepare his favorite, Angel Food Cake.  Ruby, our 13-year-old, found a recipe that appealed to her because it looked fun and easy.  She sent me to the store to get the ingredients.
