Winter storm and blizzard watches are posted for the Twin Cities due to a winter storm headed our way-- starting tomorrow morning. If we stay in an "all" snow scenario (instsead of sleet), we could get 8 to 12 inches of the white stuff. This calls for stopping at a supermarket, on your way home tonight, to stock up on groceries. Here is a good recipe to make if you are homebound.

Today is Day of the Mushroom, according to THE NIBBLE website. I’m not sure who declares “food holidays” but hey, what better reason is there to prepare a steak recipe with mushrooms for dinner on a Friday night?
