These little Italian appetizers, served at a restaurant in the Lake Como area of Italy, are just the right combination of sweet caramelized onion, salty pancetta and cheesy polenta. Thanksgiving meals are usually very filling, even without an appetizer course. In less than half an hour, you can put together an elegant appetizer for any holiday party. If the party is at your house, you can make the wreath and sauce up to 3 hours before serving to avoid the last-minute party-time crunch.
