Renae, a member of our staff, came up with a way our department could use our kitchen resources to decorate cookies for local food shelves. She made a few calls and was able to get 2,000 sugar cookies donated from one of our General Mills plants in Chanhassen, Minnesota. A committe was then formed to make a plan for decorating all of these cookies in our test kitchens by employees throughout our company as a team-building event. Our grandson, Blake (1 ½ years old) spent last weekend at our house. I decided that he could help me decorate some Christmas cookies for my mother (Blake’s great-grandmother).
