Blake's mom found some tiny little apples at the supermarket that are just his size, for snacking. Who doesn’t like to munch on crisp, juicy, fresh apples? Of course I love apple desserts in the fall too. One of my favorites is Chunky Apple Cake with Browned butter Frosting. I don’t know what I like better: biting into the big chunks of apple in the cake or the generous amount of browned butter frosting on top of the cake.

When Karen, one of my coworkers, asked me for a good dessert to serve for a housewarming party that her daughter and son-in-law were having, I suggested Pumpkin Cookies with Browned Butter Frosting. These soft cookies, with lots of browned butter frosting swirled on top of them, are perfect for a fall party.
