With the long Memorial Day weekend coming up, Jack and I will be headed to our cabin on Friday afternoon. I'll be packing the ingredients in our coolers for our favorite grilled steak recipe—Pepper Steaks with Blackberry Glaze, for a dinner with friends on Saturday night. Not only is the presentation of this steak gorgeous, it's incredibly delicious too. I love the spicy, peppery exterior of the steaks with the sweet-sour glaze. Jack likes simple meals, so to make his Father’s Day special, it doesn’t take much in the way of menu planning. Steak is his favorite meal—hands down. But I always like something more interesting than just plain steaks. Here is our compromise this year: Grilled Pepper Steaks with Honey Onions.
