Here’s something you can do to make a snack mix easier than ever. Start with a bag of any flavor Chex Mix.
Then add your favorite snacks to it. Cheese Popcorn that you bought from the neighborhood Boy Scout, some pretzel sticks, cheeses crackers and whatever you love to nibble on, and you will be ready for the big party!

If not, you might want to buy a couple of bags of Chex Mix to eat during the game on Sunday night. This will be kind of an important game if you are a Vikings fan. As my friends and family know, I’m not much of a sports fan but when a home-town team is playing for a spot at the Super Bowl, I’ll tune in to watch the game.

I usually bake at least one batch of Chex Party Mix during this time of year. That’s because one recipe makes a lot and everyone likes it. It’s easy to transport (up to our cabin or to a friend’s home) and it keeps for long time. If there’s any left by then, I put it out for New Year’s Eve with other appetizers.
The real news this year is that our Test Kitchen Experts have developed a way to bake the mix in a microwave oven. That cuts the baking time from 1 hour to just 15 minutes and so now, I can make four batches in the time that it took me to make just one. For five quick recipes go to: ...
