New Twist on Sloppy Joes

When Blake (who turns 4 years old in just 16 days) comes up to our cabin with us, I often find a recipe that we can cook together. But if time doesn’t allow (or if Blake is busy watching a Star Wars movie) I'll still make something that I know he will like. Since he loves beans, I decided to make these Sloppy BBQ Joes for our lunch.

This Sloppy Joes recipe starts with the usual ground beef and chopped onion, then adds BBQ sauce and chili beans for some new twists. They are topped with shreddded Cheddar cheese. I served the ground beef mixture on slider buns because they are a more manageable size for kids and hungry adults can always eat two of them.
