It was a thrill for me to meet Bakerella this week. Blogger, Bakerella, developed the popular and very adorable “Cake Pops” recipes. You can find her site by clicking here: Bakerella.com.
We invited her to visit the Betty Crocker Kitchens because she is sharing some of her recipes in a magazine that will be at newsstands in the fall. Here she is at one of our taste panels. Kristen keeps track of our comments by typing notes next to the recipe in the computer. Panel members are able to view the recipes and changes to them on the moniter that faces us. I can't wait to share some of our cute new Halloweeen recipes you next fall. One yummy chocolate cupcake will have a orange filling and fondant topping.
We followed Bakerella to our photo studios to take a look at a recipe for cake pops that she was making for our fall baking magazine. Here she is, decorating some Jack-o'-lantern Cake Pops.
Bakerella has a new cookbook coming out in the fall--on Cake Pops! She even has some red,white and blue cake pops for the 4th of July. All of her pops are decorated very creatively but after all, she is a graphic designer.
