It's really cold here in Minnesota and it's supposed to snow again tonight. These are the nights when pot pies really "hit the spot" because they are a warm meal-in-one dish and very nourishing.
Blake and his dad, Jason, helped make some individual Chicken Pot Pies with Biscuits for our dinner at the cabin one night, just before Christmas.
Here they are cutting each biscuit into sixths.
Blake gets to put the biscuit wedges on top of each casserole.
Blake is a very serious little cook and baker!
I put the pot pies on a jelly-roll pan so that they are easier to put in and take out of the oven.
The recipe (click on the highlighted title in the second sentence) makes eight pot pies. We made only six and really filled them up--and that's why there are more than six biscuit wedges on each casserole.
