In the Kitchen with Blake: Chicken Taco Pizza
by AndiatBettyCrocker  5/14/2009 8:51:00 AM

Every now and then, I’ll tell you about my adventures of cooking with 2-year old Blake.  For me, it’s a fun challenge to find recipes that he can make.  I’ve known for a long time that food tastes better if you make it yourself—and that’s especially true for kids. Blake loved this Chicken Taco Pizza. Because he eats with his fingers, this is a perfect recipe for him because he could easily pick up the chunks of chicken, tomatoes and shredded lettuce.  This is a main dish and salad—all in one recipe.

Mixing cooked chicken and taco sauce.

Blake spooned the chicken mixture onto a prebaked pizza crust wtih the help of Papa.

Cheeese is sprinkled over the top and then the pizza is baked for 8 to 10 minutes.

After the pizza comes out of the oven, it gets topped with chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce.

Next comes some tortilla chips.

And finally, the sour cream is spooned on top.
