Easy Granola Bars are wonderfully chewy and delicious, made with two kinds of cereal and dried cranberries. I found this recipe in a Land O Lakes® magazine, published in 2007.

I like cereal bars for lots of reasons, one of the most important ones is that you don’t have to turn on your oven during the hot summer months to make them. They are easy to transport to a picnic or backyard party and they usually don’t have to be refrigerated.
They are very easy to make. Start by combining cereals in large bowl.

Add dried cranberries.

Melt marshmallows with butter; stir into cereal mixture. Because the mixture was hot, Blake's dad, Jason, did the stirring while Papa watched on.

Put on rubber gloves (spread with butter) to make it easier to press the hot mixture into pan.

Then, they are done--just like that! Something to be proud of.
