In one of my first blog posts, last November, I asked about finding software for creating a cookbook and some of you responded with suggestions for web sites to visit. I wanted this information for Jennifer, the daughter of a friend of mine, who was planning her wedding and hoping to find a way to give each of her bridesmaids a cookbook of her favorite recipes.
Jen decided to create her cookbook using the TasteBook web site. She showed me how easy it was to type her recipes and personal stories into a template on the site. She was also able to add lots of family photos too. During the rehearsal dinner she surprised her bridesmaids with the beautiful and very personal gift of her cookbook.
I was impressed with the quality of the cover and the paper in the book. The unique ring-bound book lays flat on a kitchen counter. The cost for each book (with 100 recipes) was $34.95 +$8.95 for shipping.
