Our family loves to sit on our patio during the summer- chatting, laughing and relaying the day’s events. Lemonade, cookies and cherries fresh from our backyard tree would often sit on the patio table as we talked. One day, I thought “why not combine the flavors?” in a cookie. Wow, what a tasty combo this created! There’s nothing quite like the crunch of biting into a biscotti- and this cookie brings the flavors and sunshine of summer with each bite.
