One of my favorite childhood memories is when we began our holiday baking! My mom would bring out all her recipes and cookbooks and there were so many recipes we would want to make – our favorites- and new ones we wanted to try. My mom was always adding this or changing that ingredient – she taught me that you couldn’t lose by trying something new! This recipe is my version of one of those childhood favorites and like my mom, I added and changed ingredients, experimenting, until I came up with what I think is an easy to make, but memorable cookie!
