Grilled Bourbon-Chicken Pizza

Bourbon adds a kick to this barbecue sauce topped pizza that’s ready in less than 15 minutes.

Did you know you can create a rich bourbon barbecue sauce by doctoring up your favorite bottled sauce? Using your favorite barbecue sauce as the base, add bourbon, chipotle and garlic for a sweet and spicy flavor.

Bring the ingredients to a boil in a small saucepan.

Brush the chicken with the sauce and then grill. Chop up the chicken once it’s done and stir in with two tablespoons sauce.

Using prepared dough makes this pizza a quick and easy meal. Coat a baking sheet and lay out the pizza dough.

Brush the crust with the sauce. I like to layer the cheese with the pizza toppings so start with sprinkling about 1/4 cup of cheese across the dough.

Place the chicken evenly across the dough. Sprinkle the peppers, onions and a little more cheese and bacon.

Cover with remaining cheese, place in the oven and bake for about 17 minutes.

The edges should be browned and the cheese bubbly. Dig in and enjoy this delicious pizza!
