Comments: I used leftover chicken but did not change the cooking time so the rice soaked up all the juice resulting in a casserole moreso than soup. I will try again, but next time I will cook the rice and add it during the last 15 minutes. In addition, mixed vegetables will be the rule of thumb in our house. |

Comments: Great recipe (perfect with grilled cheese!) I did make some little changes. The store was out of cr. of potato soup, so I used cr. of onion. Also, I had some left over brown rice, so I put in 3/4 cup. I also added chopped celery. When I chopped up the chicken thigh I threw in the bone thinking it would add some more flavor. I also used fat free evap. milk. I'll keep this recipe at my finger tips. |

Comments: This was very good. The only changes I made were fresh carrots instead of frozen and I added corn and 4oz. of button mushrooms. I will definately be making this again. Very filing. |

Comments: FAIL.
Attemped a second time and...
FAIL.
I wish we could upload our own pictures of how it actually looked. Hint: it didn't look like the picture. If you're on a diet, I recommend this meal because you won't want to eat it. |

Comments: This recipe is wonderful! I have made it three times now and when I made it a couple days ago I used fat-free half and half and it didn't change the taste at all. I double the batch now to have plenty of left overs because we love to take it for lunch - reaheats wonderfully in the microwave but be sure to put a paper towel over as it likes to pop and splatter. |

Comments: First off, the picture is not the soup that you get the recipe for because there are no peas, corn or dumplings in the ingredients obviously!
Second, the soup was definitely creamy...but overly so. It was more like a casserole, not soupy at all (my kids used forks). I would recommend using fresh carrots, not frozen because they fall apart and you just have tiny pieces of carrot mush in the 'soup'. The flavor was okay, but nothing special. I will definitely NOT be making this anymore (I also tried making this a second time, and it still turned out horrible). |
