I tried this recipe tonight for dinner. I was really looking forward to trying, but I was diappoi9nted in the results. It was too eggy. My daughter actually thought it tasted more like a cheese omelet then Mac and cheese. My Pasta cooked fine and the consistancy was fine just too much egg I think if I try it again I will just use one egg. It was very simple to prepare.

Totally disappointed in this receipe. I should have read the reviews first. Crust was overdone, pasta completely underdone and the eggyness of the dish was very apparent. Will not make it again. Although I will say my three dogs seemed to love it regardless of the issues I had with eating it.

We were very disappointed with this dish. It had plenty of taste but the macaroni was so undercooked, it was inedible.

I believe the recipe is suppose to have in the ingredients 1 can of cream of mushroom soup.

I made this for dinner and both my husband and I thought it was excellent, its so easy to make and the ingredients are usually on hand! I baked it a little longer than specified however. I thought this would make a great brunch dish!

The pasta was VERY hard, and it stuck to the bottom of the crust. We couldn't eat the crust at all. We added hamburger and onion too (which was good, since we could only eat the top part). If we make this again, we will parboil the macaroni.

love it! Had no problems with undercooked pasta as some of the reviewers did. I use the high altitude version. Just a couple of notes... 1. doesn't seem to matter what type of shredded cheese I use - always comes out good 2. accidentally made it once with out the pepper sauce and it was still yummy 3. we throw on a few french's fried onions on top with the last bit of cheese - it's great!

I substituted skim milk, 2% sharp cheddar cheese, and some "smarter" pasta. It did take a while to cook all the way through and the egg separated as someone below has also experienced. The macaroni was fully cooked however, I had to leave it in the oven too long for the middle to cook and so the edges got chewy. The only other thing I went against the recipe on was that I used a 9" baking dish instead of a pie pan. Maybe next time I will try an egg substitute or pasteurized egg product to prevent separation of the eggs. I think it could use some salt and pepper as well.

I found the recipe really bland, the noodles al dente, and my tastebuds let down. I really wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before trying it, I just wasted macaroni, milk, eggs and bisquick. Looked pretty when I uncovered it, but I think the eggs separated, and I found the topping like an almost, but not quite, cooked omlet...eew.

I found it to be pretty good and it baked for the half hour is was supposed to with no problems. I even used skim milk, 2% mild cheddar, and the "healthy" Bisquick. I didn't use the sauce since I couldn't find it and I used salt and pepper since the recipe I have from the Bisquick cookbook called for both. However, the same recipe didn't suggest spraying the foil and that's something I plan on doing next time.

Good recipe, but I highly recommend boiling the macaroni at least half-way before putting it in the oven. I followed the recipe exactly, but the macaroni was almost soft, to crunchy in some parts.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover the wonderful taste of this dish. I replaced the shredded cheese with 10 oz. of 2% velveeta. I also pre-cooked the noodles as I like them a bit more tender. Added a pinch of cayenne pepper for some kick. Bake time was about ten minutes longer than stated, but that could be my oven. I highly recommend this recipe. Absolutely delish!!!

Was bland and the noodels did not soften as much as I would have liked for them to. If you were to try this recipe I would half boil the noodels befor starting.

This was realy easy to make and YUMMY!!! The only downside is that a little of the macaroni was under-cooked.The next time you go to a pot-luck or get-together, make this!! You will get good reviews!!
