Great idea, however using the cookie cutter was not. I tried spraying the cutter with non stick cooking spray, did not work. I then just made the impression with the cutter into the brownie and then followed the lines with a plastic knife (always use a plastic knife) to cut. Worked okay that way, barely squeezed out 13 stars. |

I agree -- this did not work for me also -- the cookie cutter just made a mess trying to cut them out. I also tried freezing them and then you couldn't start to press the star cutter into the brownies. If anyone has suggestions I would like to know how to cut them out -- great idea for the 4th but we ended up eating the brownies cut in squares!!! |

Recipe did not work. Great idea but not enough to make 13 stars for sure. Very hard to cut out. I tried it twice because I really wanted to make them for the 4th. Pass on this one.. |
