Comments: This is the best cookier ever and simply delicious. Made them for a gardening club and turned my back for a minute and they were gone - every last one. Not only were the cookies fantastic, the house smelled wonderful too! I did omit the dusting of powdered sugar - I little too sweet - the cookie stood on its own merits. |

Comments: Took me some time to find almond paste but totally worth the effort. These cookies are like made from scratch and so yummy,I live in VA and u can buy almond paste at Farm Fresh for 7.00 a tube. I grew up with these and they were as good as I remembered them. Oh yeah and did I tell you it took me only 15 minutes or so to make. I threw everything in my kitchen aid which made it a breeze. You can find homemade almond paste recipes online as well. This is a good recipe to do with kids. Enjoy |

Comments: Out of this world, I absolutely love this cookie. Husband and sister say it's better than if it was from the bakery, my 3 children l1-21 love this cookie. Niece asked if I would make for her Italian class. Literally, off the boat Italian parents loved these cookies. I made these cookies 3 times and my advise is not the spray the cookie sheet because it browns the bottom of the cookie to much, put down parchment paper and they will look just like the photo. |

Comments: This recipe is the closest one that I found that even compares to the bakery bought Italian cookies. I have been using this recipe for four months now and my dad (who is very much Italian) and other family members love. I was just making a batch today and thought I lost the recipe - you are mind readers to put it in this issue of Betty Crocker.
Thank you. |

Comments: This is such a cool recipe! It is a nice, quick and good tasting recipe that is a good substitute for the completely "from scratch" recipe. Great for a fancy dessert without hassle. |

Comments: I made these for my Mom for Mother's Day. My family though they were fantastic. The next time I make them I will use my stand mixer instead of the hand held. The almond paste is too hard to mix in with the hand mixer, other wise I thought these were easy to make and they tasted like cookies we used to buy from an Italian bakery on Long Island when I was a little girl. Thank you for this great recipe. |
