I made this recipe for the first time and took the casserole to our churches bean supper and the crowd loved and wanted more. I have to figure out how to increase it just a tad so more can enjoy this really tasty dish.

I didn't have a red bell pepper, but other than that I followed the recipe. I thought it was pretty good and other people at gathering loved it. Will make again. I'm gonna add onion soup mix next time.

I really wanted to love this dish, and we did eat almost the whole thing between my husband and I. But something seemed not quite right about the flavor to me. My husband said it was good, but my kids opted for raw broccoli instead. I think some folks just like their veggies unaltered.

Adults and teens scarfed this tasty dish down and loved it. A guest asked for the recipe and I laughed because it was SO easy! I modified it some (used the steam bag version and improvised) but it WAS really good. My two little ones (5 and 3) who normally LIKE broccoli did NOT like it (they also like the fried onions). Ease of prep and great taste will make this a dinner table regular.

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone asked for the recipe! I made two more times, by request, over the long weekend. Thanks for an easy and delicious recipe!

This recipe was very good. I certainly will be making it again. Definately better than the Green Bean Casserole

This recipe is so good. I made it last year for a family get-together; and it got rave reviews from everyone, including the kids. Each year at Thanksgiving and Christmas, I was making the green bean casserole. This year, my family actually requested this recipe instead of the beans. They love it.

This recipe is really good but needs something. What I did was add cooked sprial pasta and seasoned, cubed chicken breasts (4) topped with bread crumbs and baked at 350 for 35-40 min. Turned out as a great main dish.

I love this recipe, but I use the 6 oz. can of fried onions, it kicks it up a notch, and we all love onions!

I made on a Sunday for a racing party and everyone loved it. If you do not have a big crowd to feed you can cut the recipe in half and it is just as good !!!!!
