Comments: These turned out very good. I wish I had the patties bigger. They did shrink a bit. Serves with sweet potato fries and lots of ranch! Will make again! |

Comments: I thought the recipe was a little bland so i tried the suggestion to use turkey instead and that worked like magic. Trick is, one shot of tequila instead of the beer, about 3 heaped teaspoons of Season-All spice and a teaspoon of mixed italian herbs and twice the stated amount of Worcester sauce. DIVINE! |

Comments: I have a variation on this burger. I use ground turkey breast instead of ground beef. Because I use turkey, I sometimes add a little bit of bread crumbs or a few crushed crackers. Then instead of beer I use dry sherry. I then let the mixture sit for about twenty minutes. It is a marvelous, healthier alternative to an already excellent burger. |
