Comments: When I first made these, I put the ice cream in while the cookies were still warm. I decided not to wrap them in plastic, and just set them in a sealed container. When I checked on them fifteen minutes later, the icecream was melting all over the container! I wrapped them in plastic and kept the container open in hopes that they would freeze quicker, but when I went to eat one it was still melty and barely had any ice cream left in it. But today, when I ate one that was frozen and had plenty of ice cream in it, it was delicious! My parents and siblings really enjoyed this recipe, and I'll probably make it again = ). |

Comments: This recipe is also good using oatmeal cookies, and I would venture to guess any number of other flavored cookies....Much attention goes to the chocolate chips but some of us either do not like them or cannot eat them....or something just a little different...variety....just an observation....anndev |
